​Welcome to Imitators Of God Ministries (IOGM), we are a life-giving, multicultural, multigenerational church where people of all races, backgrounds, and walks of life come together to worship, to be inspired in their love for God, to develop relationships and be empowered to live out His purpose for their lives. IOGM is a Bible teaching, nondenominational church located in Tallahassee, Florida.  We are ecstatic that you have chosen to visit us through our web site, and we hope you will join us during one of our worship experiences. We are a community-driven church we believe that people matters, not religious traditions and that there are no perfect people. We desire to be a God-centered, not a man-centered church. Our prayer is that you’ll discover God’s grace and love through the weekly teaching, as we investigate the scripture Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept.

 

What to Expect.

 

At Imitators Of God Ministries, we want you to dress comfortably. When we look at Scripture, we see an emphasis on people, not on their clothing (James 2:1-9). We desire this same emphasis at IOGM. If you prefer a casual dress, then please come casual. If you prefer to wear a suit, then please do so. At IOGM, it’s truly “come as you are!” There are no expectations in regards to dress.

 

Also, your children are important to us at IOGM. We have dedicated pre-k & children’s staff. Our pre-k & children’s program is designed for your child. Your child will be much happier in an environment designed for them than in the worship service.

How can I become a member?

Apostle Emmanuel welcome new members into the covenant body at the end of our worship experiences on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s.

 

I am a new member. What do I do now?

If you have not done so already, your first step is to become acquainted with our ministry by attending our New Member Orientation classes. Sign up in the church foyer or call the church office. If you have already begun your New Member Orientation classes, your next step is to become spiritually employed. This simply means to become active in ministry so become an integral component of the vision and allow God to use your gifts, skills, and talents to enhance and prosper the vision. Member Service has a list of auxiliaries and is ready to match you with the perfect ministry that suits YOU!

 

Does the ministry provide transportation?

Yes. Simply call (850) 408-8496 at least 48 hours before the worship experience you would like to attend, leave a message with your name, number and service you want to attend, and someone will contact you to schedule transportation to and from service.
